Musical Theatre Instructor
Tim Hupf, born in 1997, lives in Baden, Aargau, and wears many hats—actor, singer, technical assistant, and bar-owner. He pursued English studies at the University of Basel and further honed his theatre skills at Close Encounters Theatre (CET). Additionally, Tim is certified in the Estill Voice Method Practice (Levels 1 and 2).
Over the years, Tim has taken on roles like Ernst in "Spring Awakening" and Seymour in "Little Shop of Horrors" at CET. He's also been part of the ensemble in "Cabaret”, starred in a couple of plays and served as assistant director for "No Way Out."
In the upcoming semester at CET, Tim is set to teach music for Broadway Academy Teens. He'll also be instructing the Broadway Academy Beginners and Intermediate on singing and music. For Tim, the collaborative atmosphere at CET is akin to family, fostering a conducive environment for creating captivating art.
When he's not busy with theatre, Tim enjoys learning more about voice techniques and playing a mix of board and video games in his downtime.
